How to run StreamAlive on Twitch.

StreamAlive reads your Twitch chat and shows the results on stream. If you’d rather not connect your channel, the StreamAlive Chrome extension can read your Twitch chat from your browser instead.

  1. Schedule or start your stream

    StreamAlive needs your stream scheduled on Twitch or already live. On Twitch, open your Channel, then the Schedule tab, and add a stream.

  2. Connect StreamAlive

    In StreamAlive, add a session and connect your Twitch account. Your scheduled stream appears. Choose it.

  3. Add your presentation

    Add the polls, wheels and maps you’ve built, or run quick interactions if you haven’t prepared a presentation.

  4. Press Present

    StreamAlive opens its presentation screen in a new tab. You can show viewers an overlay that tells them to type their answers in the chat.

  5. Add it to your stream

    In OBS, or whichever streaming tool you use, capture the browser window with the StreamAlive tab in your scene, the way you’d capture any window, then start streaming.

  6. Ask chat to type

    Viewers answer in Twitch chat. Bars move, wheels fill and pins drop on stream as they type.

How do I run a poll on Twitch?

Schedule or start your stream, connect StreamAlive to your Twitch account and pick the stream, then add the StreamAlive window to your stream in OBS or your streaming tool. Viewers type their choice in Twitch chat and the bars move on stream.

Does my stream have to be scheduled first?
