Links from the Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet chat, saved.

StreamAlive reads your meeting chat from the moment it connects and saves every link and email address anyone shares, in the order they came. When the session’s over, send your audience one link to all of them.

Works where you do: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, YouTube Live, LinkedIn Live, Substack Live and Restream. Also on your PowerPoint slides.

Paste a link in the chat and it is saved to the library.

A meeting in Microsoft Teams or Zoom. People type answers in the meeting chat and StreamAlive turns them into a link library on the shared screen. You can type your own answer in the chat.

Other tools mean spotting a link as it scrolls past, copying it before it’s gone, pasting it into a doc and tidying the list afterwards, and you still miss half of them. With StreamAlive, people paste the link in the chat.

In a Teams or Zoom meeting, “https://example.com/links-from-us” is sent in the chat and appears in the link library on the shared screen, which asks “StreamAlive found these links in the chat…” Everyone else’s answers follow.

People already drop links in the chat. StreamAlive saves every one from the moment it connects, so there’s nothing to copy and nothing to chase afterwards.

The fact that StreamAlive’s interactions are powered by the chat is huge for us. There’s no second screen, no apps, no QR codes. People stay focused on the session instead of figuring out the tech.

How to save links from a Zoom or Teams chat.

      1. You let StreamAlive into your meeting. That’s all the setup.
      2. Your audience pastes links and email addresses into the meeting chat.
      3. StreamAlive saves every one, in order, and lets you filter them by source.
      1. Paste your Teams or Zoom meeting link into StreamAlive and press Connect. Admit it from the lobby like a note-taking app, and it starts saving links at once.

      2. Share your screen and pick the StreamAlive window, or present from PowerPoint, when you want the room to see the library.

Links are saved whether or not the slide is on screen.

      3. Invite people to share something: a favorite site, their profile, a playlist, a book. Or just let the links come.

      4. They paste links or email addresses into the meeting chat, along with whatever else they’re saying.

      5. Every link and email address is added to the library on your shared screen, numbered in the order it came. The rest of the chat stays in the chat.

      6. After the session, StreamAlive gives you one shareable link to the whole library, so you can send it to everyone who took part.

Illustration of the six steps. The presenter pastes the meeting link into StreamAlive and presses Connect. StreamAlive waits in the meeting lobby and is admitted, then posts in the chat that it is reading the chat. The presenter presses Share and picks the StreamAlive window, a poll appears on the shared screen, and answers typed in the chat fill the poll bars as they arrive. After the session, the report shows who took part and how each question landed, and an AI assistant can answer questions about it.

The Link Library on its own, or on your PowerPoint slide.

Share the StreamAlive window and the library fills your screen. Or put it on a slide with the PowerPoint add-in, share PowerPoint as usual, and the links collect right there on the slide.

Type in the chat to add your own answer.

A Microsoft Teams meeting. First the host shares the StreamAlive window on its own; then the host shares PowerPoint, where the same interaction sits on a slide. Answers typed in the Teams chat fill the interaction either way. Choose a slide in the slide list to switch interaction, or type your own answer in the chat.

Links come in all kinds: videos, playlists, profiles, shops and email addresses. Pick a source and the library shows only those.

Paste a link in the chat, then pick a source from the menu.

One link to send everyone afterwards.

Nobody should have to scroll back through the chat for the link someone shared an hour ago. StreamAlive keeps them for you, in one place.

          1. Find it in your report

After the session, the Link Library sits in your report, next to your questions and your most active commenters.

          2. Tidy it

Edit or remove any link before you share the list.

          3. Share one link

StreamAlive gives you a shareable link to the library. Put it in a follow-up email, a newsletter or a post, so everyone gets every link.

How to save links in Zoom, Teams, Google Meet or PowerPoint

It’s the same three moves everywhere: let StreamAlive into your meeting, share your screen, ask. Here’s how StreamAlive gets in wherever you present, with a step-by-step guide for each.

Your first session won’t be a solo act.

Chat to the StreamAlive team, join a daily AMA, or follow the step-by-step guide for your platform. You can test it in a meeting with one colleague before anyone else sees it.

          Questions about the Link Library

How do I save links from the Zoom chat?

Connect StreamAlive to your Zoom meeting with the StreamAlive app for Zoom or the meeting link. From that moment it saves every link anyone shares in the chat, and you show your Link Library slide whenever you want the room to see them.

Does it save email addresses too?

Yes. Email addresses shared in the chat are saved with the links, and you can filter the library to show only them.

          Can I filter the links?

Yes. Filter by where a link points: YouTube, Spotify, Amazon, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Twitch, email addresses or other websites.

Does it save links when the slide isn’t on screen?

Yes. It saves from the moment StreamAlive is connected to your meeting, so a link shared at the start is still there at the end.

How do I share the links afterwards?

StreamAlive gives you a shareable link to the library after the session. Send it in an email, a newsletter or a post, and everyone gets every link without searching the chat.

Can I edit or remove a link?

Yes. You can edit or remove links before you share the library.

Does it work for people in the room?

Yes. Hybrid and in-person audiences share links in StreamAlive’s browser chat, and people online keep using the meeting chat. Both feed the same library.

Save your next links from the chat.

Free for sessions of up to five people. No card needed.
