What’s a Session Pack?
4 sessions for $100, paid once, to use any time within 12 months. Each session takes up to 250 participants, and rehearsals with 5 or fewer participants don’t use one up. If you move to Pro within 30 days, we’ll credit the sessions you haven’t used.
I’m running one event. Which plan do I need?
A Session Pack: $100 covers the event and 3 more within 12 months, with up to 250 participants each. For a bigger audience or your own branding, pay for Pro month to month at $150 and cancel before it renews.
How do presenters work?
Free, Session Pack and Pro are for one presenter, the person who runs the session. Scale is $1,800 a year with one presenter included and $1,200 a year for each presenter you add, so 3 presenters cost $4,200 a year. Every Scale presenter gets a Pro seat. Your audience never pays.
What counts as a participant?
Someone who sends a message in the chat during a session. If 100 people join and 80 of them type, that’s 80 participants. People who only watch don’t count.
Does my audience need to sign up, pay or install anything?
No. Online, they type in the Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, YouTube or LinkedIn Live chat they’re already in. In the room, they open chat.streamalive.com on their phone and enter the code on your screen.
What counts as a session?
Any live training, class, webinar, meeting or stream you run StreamAlive in. Sessions with 5 or fewer participants count as rehearsals, so you can practice and set up without using up a Session Pack. Free, Pro and Scale have unlimited sessions.
What happens when I reach my plan’s limit?
A Session Pack takes the first 250 participants in a session. Pro is provisioned for up to 1,000 online participants per session under our fair use policy, and Scale has larger limits: the record is 45,000 online. Messages from anyone past a limit aren’t added to the interaction. When a pack’s sessions are used up, buy another pack or move to Pro. Expecting a bigger audience? Talk to us.
How does the free trial work?
Sign up for free, then request a Pro trial inside the app. We switch on full Pro for 2 sessions or 14 days, whichever comes first, so you can try it with a real audience. No credit card. Afterwards your account goes back to Free.
Can I connect StreamAlive to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot?
Yes, on Pro and Scale. Connect your StreamAlive data to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot to mine your sessions for insights and trends.
Do you have an education plan?
Yes. Teachers, lecturers and schools can talk to us about the educator plan.
StreamAlive is SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified. It reads the meeting chat, and doesn’t record or access video, audio or shared screens. Scale adds single sign-on and moderators, and from 3 presenters we’ll work through your contracts and security questionnaires.
By any major credit card. On Scale the whole team is on one invoice, and we can take payment by bank transfer. Prices are in US dollars and include any tax, so what you see is what you pay.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, for any reason, if you ask within 14 days of paying. Pro and Scale renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time. A Session Pack is paid once and doesn’t renew.
How is StreamAlive different from Mentimeter or Slido?
Your audience answers in the meeting or stream chat itself. In Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, YouTube or LinkedIn Live there’s nothing else to open, scan or install, and StreamAlive turns their messages into polls, quizzes, word clouds and Q&A on your shared screen.
