A meeting in Microsoft Teams or Zoom. People type answers in the meeting chat and StreamAlive turns them into a map on the shared screen. You can type your own answer in the chat.

Before StreamAlive, there was only one way to hear from your audience.

  1. Get your phone out and scan the QR code.
  2. Wait for the page to load.
  3. Type in the access code.
  4. Type your answer and press Submit.
  5. Then the notifications come in, and they stop watching your presentation.

StreamAlive introduces a whole new, frictionless way that keeps your audience’s focus on your presentation, not on their phones.

Your audience never gets a link to StreamAlive. They watch your shared screen and type in the chat they’re already in.

StreamAlive is three things.

A live session needs all three, whether your questions are in StreamAlive or on your own slides. Your audience only ever sees the third.

Where are your questions?
  1. 1A presentation you build

Your questions, polls and slides, made before the session in StreamAlive’s presentation builder. Upload your deck, add interactions between the slides, and preview them with made-up answers.

    The presentation builder

Add polls, word clouds and quizzes to the slides you already have, with the PowerPoint add-in or as an embed in Canva or Gamma.

    The PowerPoint add-in
  2. 2A participant in your meeting

StreamAlive joins your Zoom, Teams or Google Meet meeting the way a note-taking app does, and reads the chat. On Zoom, the StreamAlive app for Zoom brings it in for you. This part is the same however you present.

  3. 3A screen you share

When StreamAlive joins, it opens your presentation in a new tab. Share that tab in your meeting, and your audience watches their answers arrive as they type.

    See every interaction

Share your slideshow in the meeting as usual. When you reach a question, start it on the slide, and the answers fill in right there as people type.

Everything StreamAlive does.

Every feature runs on the same chat, so your audience has nothing new to learn.

Works where you already present.

In your meeting

StreamAlive joins from the meeting link and reads the chat. Your audience installs nothing.

With your slides

Add polls and quizzes to your deck with an add-in or an embed. Slides are optional.

In your live stream

The StreamAlive Chrome extension reads the live chat on YouTube and LinkedIn, or in your Restream or StreamYard studio, so viewers answer where they comment. More about the Chrome extension

In-person and hybrid

A room has no meeting chat, so people scan a QR code or go to chat.streamalive.com and type there instead. Hybrid sessions feed both chats into one result. More about in-person sessions

What people ask before their first session

Does my audience need to download anything or visit a link?

No. In Zoom, Teams or Google Meet they type in the meeting chat they already have open. Don’t send them a link to StreamAlive: they see your presentation on your shared screen.

Can my audience see the presentation builder?

No, and they don’t need to. The builder and the preview are only for you. Your audience sees what you share in your meeting, and answers in its chat.

How does StreamAlive get into my meeting?

Give it the meeting link, or connect your Zoom account and pick the meeting. StreamAlive joins the way a note-taking app does, and the host admits it. On Zoom you can also use the StreamAlive app for Zoom.

Can StreamAlive see or record our meeting?

No. It reads the chat so it can build the visuals. It doesn’t record, and it has no access to your video, audio or shared screen.

What about sessions in a room?

A room has no meeting chat, so people scan a QR code or go to chat.streamalive.com and enter a short code. It works like a meeting chat in a browser tab, with no app to install. In hybrid sessions, the room and the meeting chat feed one result.

In-person sessions
How much does it cost?

Sessions of up to five participants are free. Paid plans start at $100 for a pack of 4 sessions, Pro is $75 a month billed annually, and the Scale plan adds single sign-on, shared templates and live onboarding for teams of presenters.

Your audience is already in the chat.
